November Sewing: Something for Ellie, Something for B2

Wanting both B2 and Ellie to have something new of their own once he/she is born, I made a little cooking apron for Ellie (using this tutorial) and a new baby blanket for B2.  I’ve been meaning to make Ellie an apron for a long time and now she’ll finally have one!

Ellie LOVED eating cherries this summer so they’re a fun accent for her apron.

We have several lovely blankets that were made for us before Ellie was born.  We’ll continue to use them for B2 but I wanted to have one that was specifically for B2 (particularly if Ellie is upset by another baby using her blankets in the beginning).

Plus, I love these owls!
