- unplugged the refrigerator
- pulled dirt out of my plants all over the floor
- pulled a floor lamp over (which thankfully missed him)
- pulled the vacuum cleaner (also missed him)
- figured out how to open the cabinet door underneath the sink, pushed his hand inside, and then fussed at me because he couldn’t get to the non-child safe bottles inside.Β (This door does have a safety latch on it but Ellie never put it to the test!)
- filled the laundry hamper with non-washable items
two pens (good ones!), a puzzle piece and a block; not pictured because I had already taken them out: a board book and a ruler
Needless to say, we’ve done a lot more baby-proofing around here and there’s probably more to come.Β Is this because of gender or personality? π
Both?
agreed!
Boys are SO fun! I love them! Having only boys, I can’t really speak to gender, but I can speak to personality. J&J were/are so different–one was/is curious in a “busy-doing” sort of way (like Mark), and the other was/is curious in a more “book-ish” sort of way (as in reading or discussing rather than doing satisfies his wondering).
Yes, they are so fun! π And that’s good to know about your boys. I know there’s some personality variation in there too!
We had to do a lot more baby proofing with Elias than Savannah. Lucky for us we had our boy first π
I suppose that Elias made Savannah look easy! π
I am so glad that my son was not the only one who wished to kill your plants. My son enjoys 6 too, but we can convince him to put appropriate things into the hamper occasionally.
Definitely not the only one on a mission to destroy plants! And good work on the appropriate hamper item progress!
