Attack of the Killer Vegetables

We’ve managed to grow some fairly impressive vegetables this summer.  Take for example, the largest piece of Swiss chard I have ever seen.

Or this beet (which you have already seen as a centerpiece):Just that one beet will be enough for all three of us for a meal!

We’ve also grown some beautiful tomatoes, including an heirloom variety called Mr. Stripey, which is beautiful inside and out:

We love our garden!  Goooooooooooooooo Nik!

And we’re hoping that it will still be there in the morning.

    great veggies and all, but i LOVE the white onesie tennis outfit thingy Ellie’s wearring.. It goes great with chard.
