We’ve managed to grow some fairly impressive vegetables this summer.  Take for example, the largest piece of Swiss chard I have ever seen.

Or this beet (which you have already seen as a centerpiece):Just that one beet will be enough for all three of us for a meal!

We’ve also grown some beautiful tomatoes, including an heirloom variety called Mr. Stripey, which is beautiful inside and out:
