One of my food resolutions for the year is to bake most, if not all, of the bread we eat. I started today with Oatmeal Toasting Bread. I made it with all whole-wheat flour and without the old dough (although I did save some for next time). I’m planning to read more about baking bread and hope to starting baking with sourdough as well. But in the meantime, it sure is nice to have the smell of freshly baked bread in our house!
