I taught in our school district for the last five years.  In those five years, I taught at 3 middle schools.  I started at a new school in 2005, 2008, and 2009.  All three times, the school was under construction as I moved in my things and prepared to start teaching.

This year, I didn’t go back to school.  I’m now a stay-at-home wife (at least for a few more weeks) and guess what?  Our house is under construction (or at least, we’re getting some work done on it.)  I’m listening to construction noises right now, just like I did at those three schools during the first week of teacher preparation before the kids came. (Nik is at school right now, doing just that.)
