A miracle.
There are no piles of paper that I need to put away.
Anywhere in the office.
This has never happened before.
At least not since I moved in, on June 23, 2007.
That’s not to say that they won’t start again.
But for now, I’m going to savor the bare expanses of desk, rug, sofa, and file cabinet.
