Here’s a few pictures from our trip to Assateague Island National Seashore a week ago Friday (the 18th):
Here’s proof that ponies really do live on the island! (In my opinion, one of the coolest things about going to Assateague Island. Remember Misty of Chincoteague?)
Katie, Ira, and I were escaping from the sun while Holly, David, Cathedra, Ann, and her kids were playing down in the water. (You can see that I am reading appropriately light beach literature!)
awww, sounds like fun!
No, we don’t know her (well, I do ;o). She had heard of the Stumps, but hadn’t met them. She has met James and Sharon and is acquaintances with the Wilders. She grew up on partly on Lake Clark (not P.A.) and remembers flying to Pile Bay to get gasoline. Isn’t that fun?
She had been on vacation for a week last month and I asked her how it was and she said she went out to Lake Clark and asked if I’d heard of it. I said “Of course!” ;o)
its right here silly. . .do you believe me now? 🙂
