I spent my Sunday afternoon napping and reading this.  It was a
wonderful book.  It’s a Newbery Honor Book and I, of course, found
it at the Book Thing..  It’s a fast and easy read but definitely
worth a
couple hours of your time.  (If you’re going to read it, don’t
read the first review on Amazon.com because it essentially gives away
the whole story, particulary parts that need to be discovered as you’re
reading.)

I saw a fabulous children’s book list on another blog the other
day.  It’s extremely long so let me know if you want it and I can
e-mail it to you.  (I copied it and pasted it into Word.)  It
covers everything from Narnia to Tolkien to Anne to the Iliad!
