1. Loud frat parties (thankfully, usually far up the street from us)
2. Relatively cheap entertainment – plays, concerts, lectures, etc. (not that I take advantage of it that often.)
3. Extremely crowded streets with students parking
everywhere. (Leah, hence the need for a neighborhood parking
permit – they’re trying to keep the students contained. It
doesn’t really work.) But graduation is in less than a month and
then ahhhhhhh, the joys of summer, non-Hopkins student parking! 🙂
(One of these things is truly a joy. You figure it out.)
LOL – the funny thing is, you have similar issues we do and you don’t even live AT a univ like we do. People parking in our parking spots, being really loud and having parties, and us waiting for school to be let out to have a break. The plays and concerts can be good, yes, but I assume much better for you than us ;o) However, Spearfish is a fairly artsy community for its size and for this I’m appreciative. Today there is “Festival on the Green” going on on the campus green with several concerts and activities going on.
yeah. we totally have that problem here at uaa…umm, nevermind, we dont live at uaa. however, yay for the arts.and yay for laura coming here soonish.
