For Selah, because I heard that she liked to write, I made her a journal/composition book cover, using this tutorial.  I made a couple changes – I used ribbon to tie it closed instead of the button/hair tie and I added a pocket on the front to put a pencil in.  I remember being very excited to have a journal with an attached pen when I was about Selah’s age so I figured she would like that!

She has already been very busy drawing and writing in it!
